Peppermint Bath Salts | DIY Bath Salts Recipe and Tutorial
I am all about soaking in my huge clawfoot bathtub with scented bath salts. Epsom salts are great for adding magnesium back into your body and helping with aches and pains. It is a nice tradition to end a long, hard work day. I want to make bath salts to give as holiday gifts this year, and didn’t want to use chemical fragrances, so this essential oil bathsalts recipe is just perfect.
Here is a great easy DIY Bath Salts Recipe brought to you by Homemade Gifts Made Easy. This website has several crafty DIY projects you might want to try.
To make these peppermint essential oil bath salts, you will want a big bag of Epsom salt, some sea salt (both are available at most major stores or order online from Amazon.com), and your choice of essential oils – in this case peppermint. Amazon has a huge list of essential oil fragrances so you can make your own scent blend. Use any size jar or plastic baggie to package up your peppermint essential oil, and wrap your jar with a ribbon. I found this website for cheap glass jars in all styles. Or mason jars will work, too. Add a candycane to your package for a holiday touch.
Enjoy your lovely hot bath, and relax. Ahh!
