This holiday season has me thinking up tons of make-your-own holiday gift ideas. So, as usual I was surfing Pinterest looking for the best holiday craft project ideas and tutorials. I came across this super easy way to create your own photo canvas art, on the Literally Inspired blog. All you need are some cheap art canvases which you can get at Michaels crafts, or any art store, or online (ebay has some great deals). Then some Mod Podge and a brush, and some paint for the sides of the canvas. Oh and of course, your photos. If you don’t have a photo printer at home, you can have your images printed in really big sizes pretty cheap at Staples (select Engineering prints if you want gigantic photos), or most office supply stores and Kinkos.
Then get busy making your own amazing art gallery using your favorite photos. I plan to make lots of these as holiday gifts, and of course to hang on my own walls at home. Do a wall collection of kids photos, family members, pets, photos of your favorite places, parks, trees….you get the idea. This is a super fun and easy project!
